Girls With Wings Chapters

Girls With Wings Chapters are needed around the country in order to do presentations and fulfill the need for
community outreach. If you would be interested in speaking in schools at career days, to girl scouts or
appearing at local airshows and other events, please express your interest below.
As a member of a GWW Chapter, you would be expected to hold quarterly meetings. One would be your
initial (or refresher) training to learn the Girls With Wings presentation. The other three meetings would be at
your chapter's discretion, and to invite student pilots as a mentoring opportunity. You would also be required
to do at least two public awareness events per year, whether at a school or other facility, to girls or women's
groups, and on a individual or group basis (a possible group event would be a Youth Aviation Adventure
format). See examples from other events. Implicit in your chapter's responsibilities would be making phone
calls and advertising your chapter's existence, so more of these opportunities become available!
